Program Overview

Why The Sports Business
The sports industry has become one of the fastest growing and most dynamic industry sectors in the world and is in need of talented executives to help drive this continued innovation and growth.

Consider that the most recent FIFA World Cup Finals in Qatar was watched by 1.42 Billion viewers from across the globe, Nike’s annual sales are over $51 Billion with its products available in over 200 countries and close to 27 million children, 54% of youths between the ages 6 to 17, participated in sports in the U.S. alone.

Sports are global, and their influence goes beyond the playing field and sports arena. Around the globe, sports teams perform before enthusiastic fans at modern venues, and even larger audiences watch on TV or stream online. An increasing number of interested viewers now wager considerable sums on sports outcomes through the legalization of sports betting.
In an increasingly fragmented world, our passion for sports and affinity for our favorite teams, and players is the thing we talk about with other people. It anchors many of our closest relationships and brings together communities unlike nothing else.
Our immersive boot camp experience will provide students with a rigorous introduction to all facets of the business of sports. The program is designed for motivated high school students who are passionate about the business of sports and aspire to pursue a degree or career in the sports business.
